He is currently the Director Operations at Imperial College and specializes in lecturing Fundamentals of Financial Accounting and Fundamentals of Business Mathematics at the Certificate Level. His lecturing experience spans over 6 years, during which his motivation and commitment to students has made him a very popular lecturer. Further, his confidence and knowledge, combined with great enthusiasm for the subject has resulted in his success to date.
Being a popular lecturer, he was selected by the CIMA division to conduct ‘Train the Trainer’ (TTT) programmes in Sri Lanka and India. Further, he is also a visiting lecturer to Christ University in Bangalore, India where he conducts intensive revision programmes for CIMA students at the Certificate and Operational Level. Further, he also lectures the module “Finance for Business Managers” for the final year students of the BA Business Management programme, offered by University of Wales Institute of Cardiff – UWIC, through ICBT City Campus.
Sivabaskaran, a CIMA Finalist and a holder of a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, he also holds an MBA from the University of Wales has been at the forefront of Imperial College since its inception in 2002. He has played a vital role in its success to date. He began his stint at Imperial College as Operations manager, shortly after being promoted to Assistant General Manager. In 2004, he was appointed as the Director of Operations, where he was responsible for implementing several key projects. He was also greatly involved with business development and expansion of the college. He has extensively contributed to the success of the college.
