Intikab, a multi qualified individual with over 11 years of industry and consulting experience has a successful track record of passionately driving operational excellence, reengineering and base lining business processes, designing and rolling out training programmes (technical and leadership), maximizing business opportunities, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Intikab discovered a passion for imparting his knowledge on aspiring students 5 years ago, when he lectured for subjects at the Strategic Level as well as for TOPCIMA in Sri Lanka and overseas. His immense experience in industry and his own experiences in pursuing different qualifications has been his strength in his approach to teaching. His easy going nature makes it possible for students to approach him for extra help and with any doubts they may have.
Currently following 2 masters programme, an MBA from Edith Cowan University and a MA in Financial Economics at University of Colombo, Intikab is also an Associate Member of CIMA, a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), a Fellow Certified Management Accountant from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants Sri Lanka and a Chartered Public Accountant (CPA).
His professional career began in 2000 and over the years Intikab has risen the corporate ladder with leading employers in Sri Lanka and Kuwait, having won awards for his outstanding performance. He is currently a business advisor and management consultant for SMEs on performance management, management reporting, project management, and finance department transformation projects including current state assessment and improvement. He also plays the role of technical advisor and a management consultant for a leading stock brokering company on financial modeling, management reporting and business analysis areas.
