An Associate Member of CIMA and a holder of a Management Special degree and an MBA from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura, Indika specializes in lecturing Enterprise Operations and Enterprise Management where his key strength lies in his corporate management experience, which he shares with his students, giving them a wider view of the subject. Indika is admired for the practical approach he adopts in order to make the subject interesting and easily comprehensible. His immeasurable background in senior management roles at home and abroad, in both HR and Marketing has resulted in a confident and winning style that has seen his popularity rise amongst students.
A senior member of the lecture panel at Imperial College, Indika's lecturing experience is not limited to Sri Lanka alone. He is also a visiting lecturer at Christ University, Bangalore, India, where he conducts revision programmes for CIMA students at the Managerial Level.
Indika's corporate experience, spanning over 11 years has seen him though a successful career thus far. He began his career in the apparel industry, employed at One of South Asia's largest apparel manufacturer MAS Holdings, where Indika was involved with Operations. His dedication and commitment sought him a position in Vietnam within the group. During his 3 year stint overseas, Indika gained invaluable exposure which also led him to move into Human Resources within the MAS Group. He is currently employed as the Manager - Human resources Trelleborg (Pvt.) Ltd.
